Details TOPIC - LA Metro Small/Disadvantaged Business Programs and Opportunites The ASCE Orange County Branch invites you to attend the April Luncheon featuring an overview of the Los Angeles Metro Small and Disadvantaged Business Programs and Opportunities including the SBE Prime Program as presented by Jerry Jacobsen a Principal of Diversity and Economic Opportunity with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro).       About The Speakers:  Jerry JacobsenPrincipal of Diversity and Economic Opportunity, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority     Jerry Jacobsen has been closely involved with the development, rollout and implementation of the Agency's groundbreaking Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Prime Program, which has awarded more than 1,000 awards since its 2014 launch.   As part of the Diversity and Economic Opportunity Department's Contract Compliance Unit, Mr. Jacobsen consults Project Managers and Vendor/Contract Management on matters related to small business programs, guidelines & regulations, and currently oversees Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract compliance with the Regional Connector, Westside Purple Line Sections 1-3 and Southwestern Yard projects.   Prior to joining Metro, Jerry served as Executive Director of Diversity Development for the News Corp/Fox Group (FOX Broadcasting, 20th Century Fox Film and Dow Jones) where he oversaw more than $750 million in diverse supplier expansion.   Hosted Valet Parking at The Center Club Contact marketing@asceoc.org for sponsorship opportunities.
