Details The 2019 Joint LA Section YMFs Camping trip will be hosted by OC YMF at the Caspers Wilderness Park in San Juan Capistrano.  Four adjacent camping spots have been reserved at the Live Oak Grove Campground for two nights of camping in beautiful southern Orange County.  Bring your tents and trail hiking shoes for this fun weekend of socialing with the other LA Section YMFs. Caspers Wilderness Park is an 8,000 acre protected wilderness preserve nestled among the river terraces and sandstone canyons of the western coastal Santa Ana Mountains. The park's many fertile valleys are overtly complemented by specimen groves of native Coastal Live Oak and magnificent stands of California Sycamore. These areas are further accentuated by seasonal wildflower displays and running streams. Wildlife is abundant and can be readily viewed from any of the parks numerous trails.  See the link for a map of the park. http://www.ocparks.com/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=59699 Check in starts at 2pm Friday May 31 and check out is at 12pm Sunday June 2.  Camping spots 21, 23, 24, and 25 have been reserved.  Each spot can hold a maximum of 8 people and 2 cars.  Attendees are highly encouraged to carpool and share tents when possible.  Food and water will be provided from Friday dinner to breakfast Sunday.  The campground offers water, showers, and bathrooms.
