| Details | Dear LA Section Leaders:
We have several upcoming events that we would like you to note on your Branch’s/Chapter’s calendar:
* LA Section Project Awards Banquet luncheon will be held on October 5, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach. We’ll send out a flyer next week that you can share with your members, but for now please help us by not scheduling other events on that day.
* Attached is our sponsorship form for the event, which kept all the prices and tiers the same as last year. Please begin talking with your company about sponsoring our event, or talking with your consultants.
* Section awards nominations portal is now open at: http://www.asceregion9awards.org/section-awards/la. You can submit until July 15th. If you have any problems please let myself or Steven King know.
* The next Section Board Meeting will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at AECOM’s office at 999 Town & Country Road, Orange from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Immediately after the meeting we will have our annual training workshop for Branch and Section officers. Please encourage your officers to attend in person, especially the new ones that are just coming onboard. Lunch is provided.
