Digital Video Competition
The ASCE Region 9 Board of Governors (California) would like to invite your Student Chapters and Younger Member Forums (YMF) to participate in an event to promote the Civil Engineering profession. The purpose of the activity is to develop digital video, music, and/or photo slideshow presentation to be used for:
(1) the recruitment and transition of young engineers into ASCE and YMF activities, and
(2) the recruitment of pre-college students into undergraduate civil engineering programs.
Attached is the application form and complete description of the program/contest. THERE WILL BE TWO PRIZES (ONE EACH CATEGORY) OF $1,500 FOR THE WINNING TEAM(S).
We are also seeking your help in spreading the message about this event by posting it on your website and/or publicizing it in your newsletter.
