Suggested Award Summary:

Cindy was born in El Salvador. She arrived in Los Angeles in 2008. She began her pursuit towards obtaining an engineering degree by enrolling at EVANS adult school to learn English. Ms. Anaya started attending Santa Monica College during the fall of 2009. She transferred with honors in 2013. Ms. Anaya began her undergraduate career at CSULA during the fall of 2013. Ms. Anaya will be beginning her masters program during the fall of 2016 with a focus in structural engineering.
