| Details | Title: City of Bakersfield Anaerobic Digester Mixing Pump Replacement at WWTP No. 3 Speaker: David Lollis, P.E. - Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group Mr. Lollis will discuss the design and construction of this project, which included the removal of the existing digester mixing pumps and concrete pedestals and the installation of 4 new pumps at the City's WWTP No. 3. The replacement pumps were selected and pre-purchased by the City. Due to space constraints, the pumps were assembled in the underground pump equipment room. Because of the congested pump room, special care was taken to get the proper fit for the replacement equipment. A 3D laser scanning survey was required to analyze the equipment fit in the room. |
