The Calleguas-Las Virgenes Interconnection is a groundbreaking, award winning partnership between Calleguas Municipal Water District (Calleguas) and Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (Las Virgenes) that creates a more reliable and resilient water supply for communities in portions of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. The Calleguas-Las Virgenes Interconnection connects two major water systems serving nearly three-quarters of a million people, helping to ensure that residents, businesses, schools, and institutions have access to water even during emergencies. It also paves the way for new regional water resource development and collaboration.
