Description
Jeannie Lee is a Senior Project Manager in the Capital Project Delivery
department at the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA),
where she manages multiple projects with project costs totaling nearly
$1 billion. She works in partnerships with many other public agencies
involved in transportation development and improvement and manages
numerous teams of private consultants and contractors who help deliver
projects along Interstates 5, 405, 605, and State Routes 55 and 91. She
has over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry,
supporting and leading major transportation projects in bridge design
and project management.
Prior to joining OCTA in November 2012, Jeannie spent over 12 years in
private firms (size of 5,000 to over 50,000 employees) delivering major
freeway, rail and highway projects in California as well as Utah, Nevada,
and Minnesota. She has a solid background in designing numerous
bridge projects at all levels of capital project delivery phases.
Currently, Jeannie is serving as WTS Orange County Chapter Past
President, and she served as numerous elected board positions for
more than 15 years. Jeannie is also member of ASCE and a committee
member of TRB.
Jeannie is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California and earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from University
of California, San Diego, and a Master of Science degree in Civil
Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
