Description
Nestor Godinez is a Senior Engineer for SLR International in Orange County with over 15 years of experience. Nestor works on a variety of environments, industrial, landfill, and mining projects. Nestor received his bachelor’s from UC Irvine and his master’s from CSU Fullerton. He has been a proud and active member of ASCE since he was a university student. Nestor was an active Orange County Younger Member Forum Board member from 2012 to 2023 and served in multiple board and committee positions. He led the Orange County YMF in 2016-2017 which had the honor of winning the Younger Member Group Award for Large Groups presented by ASCE Society. Nestor served as Co-Chair for the 2023 Western Regional Younger Member Council conference hosted by Orange County. Nestor is an advocate for greater younger member involvement in ASCE at all levels of leadership. Currently, he is the outgoing OC Branch President.
