Description

Vincent works at Cannon Corporation in San Luis Obispo where he is a member on Cannon’s Water Resource Team, working on a variety of water focused civil engineering projects, including the design and construction management of water storage tanks, booster pumping stations, potable water mains, and drinking water wells.  Some of Vincent’s recent tank projects include a 1.12 MG and a 2.08 MG prestressed concrete drinking water storage tank in Southern California. He is also scheduled to start work on a new 12 MG prestressed concrete storage tank project.
Vincent enjoys working with his team on several tight deadlines to ensure these water conveyance and storage systems get built. Seeing a project go from 0 to 100% design and then from the design to construction is very rewarding to him. Vincent enjoys using his civil engineering expertise and team building skills to produce physical structures that benefit the wellbeing of thousands of people.

Vincent has been a critical part of the San Luis Obispo ASCE Branch Board since joining this year. Vincent has taken on the role of Event Coordinator and has excelled in every aspect of the position since his first day. Vincent routinely sends event updates to all board members so that everyone is “in the loop” about what the Branch is doing and when/where it is happening. Vincent flawlessly executes events on the day of by ensuring that speakers, hosts, presenters, officers, and attendees all have what they need to make each ASCE SLO Branch event a success. Vincent has also advanced the position of event coordinator by modernizing some of the practices of the Branch to streamline events, make check-in easier, and provide quality presentation topics and lunch options.
